RIP Tony Slattery

Tony Slattery was an actor and comedian best known for his improv comedy on Whose Line Is It Anyway?

He also appeared in Kingdom alongside his old university friend, Stephen Fry; together with Hugh Laurie, Emma Thompson, Paul Shearen and Penny Dwyer, they performed in the Cambridge Footlights revue The Cellar Tapes, which won the first ever Perrier Award at the Edinburgh Fringe.  After that he appeared in many films and television shows including Carry On Columbus, The Crying Game, Robin Hood, Red Dwarf, The English Harem, Peter's Friends, Cold Blood, The Royal and Coronation Street.  His documentary, What's the Matter With Tony Slattery? by Sundog for the BBC's Horizon science strand delved into the mental health effects of fame as well as other important mental health issues.

Tony lived in London with his partner, Mark, and a psychotic cat called Molly.  Rumours that he collected Corgi model cars have been greatly exaggerated.
